Suggesting less...straight arms, if you know what I mean. They look too humanoid. Make him similar to Zangoose, I think making him a Zangoose rival would be cool  |

The reason I gave him fists and not claws... If I'm going to change his arms, I'd like to make them similar to the new poison toad guy www.serebii.net/index2.shtml (open the spoiler and scroll down to Dokurogu, I can't copy paste the image :/) Also, his stripes are open to change style and all, I just wanted him to have white stripes... actually most of him is open to change, just his head, which I like, and his typing... allthough maybe even his head's bottom jaw could use lengthening... |

Pretty much he needs slightly shorter legs, and longer arms, and not stand completely erect.

About the whole physical/special attack change. I think it'll work like this:
If the move changes to special(IE, hyper beam), it will run off the spatk stat and be affected by the opponent's def and light screen if they have it. But the se/nve/immunity stuff still applies.
Now, suppose blaze kick becomes physicial, it will run off the attack stat and be affected by the opponent's spdef and reflect if they have it. But rain and sun would still mess with it's power(Rain reduces it, sun boosts it).
This basically means that the se/nve thing still applies, but now the attacking stat a move runs off will change.
And this would mean that shit like CMcune would be able to be raped by say, a breloom with thunderpunch and swords dance.

I think it was confirmed that moves like hyper beam would now hit on opponents Special Defense, in addition to running off of special attack... In addition to that, your posts are becoming few and far between  |

actually from my knowledge attacks like hyper beam and swift do run ff sp. atk but they hit physically while thunderpunch runs off attack and hits sp. def make a whole new metagame where a one sided pokemon such as alakazam he could hit a ghost type physically (shadow ball) or elementally (psychic) to what extent is unknown

If special moves like Hidden Power still work with the opponent's defense stat, I envision wonderful things from Alakazam.
359 special attack + Calm Mind + Hidden Power Fighting = GFG TTar/Blissey/Regice/Snorlax.

and special attacks hit spc def
too bad for zam... at least he gets Shadow Ball, Tri Attack, and a few self affecting moves with as of yet unknown effects

Dragon_Hawk, you should read my uh...rant-of-sorts. I read it. I agreed with the post in that it applies very thoroughly to physical walls being dead for the most part but I disagree on the special side. Regice will still wall special Gengar until further notice and a CM Blissey or even just one with Ice Beam or whatever will beat the presumed god of D/P, the special Gengar. And if anyone says, "lol Focus Punch n00b," then they can bite my ass because using Focus Punch to beat special wall has existed since the early middle of RuSa so it's nothing new. It'll be played around. Similarly, Blissey with CM will best HP Fite Alakazam simply because Blissey takes nothing from Psychic (135 power after factoring in STAB) and will take nothing from HP Fite (140 power after factoring in SE). A whole 5 point difference. Unless 'Zam has Taunt/Encore and Recover, it loses to Blissey. But that's hardly a sustainable argument because it applies even in RuSa; I mean, saying Blissey doesn't counter specialized Alakazam designed TO beat Blissey is kind of a meh statement. If anything, I think while having physical resistances will be crucial and being able to pressure pokemon like Rampard out will also be crucial, having a special wall will still a very viable thing. Call me crazy, but other than Gengar getting a big boost I haven't had much of an indication to assume the one-sided special wall is dead. |

This is totally off topic but I just realized the only special normal move Blissey gets is Hyper Beam (iirc). Hidden Power Normal suddenly can be used by something!
