>_> To let you know, the stats and icon tell me that it is indeed a dusclops evo. Dusclops and Magneton were two of the LAST Pokemon I expected for evolution. What the fuck is this, a motherfucking chiapet? And it has 100 base stats across the board? You're kidding me! I'd sooner train my dog's shit than that.

So, what. Swords Dance/Shadow Claw/Ice Punch/Brick Break for Weavile? I thought scheme but his special attack is still shit. Brick Break + Shadow Claw for coverage (assuming Shadow Claw is the 70 power high ch dark move, which it probably is).
With all these crazy stat tricks (but mainly swords dance), I'm kind of thinking making him carry a CB might not be as cool as making him dance. With 120 attack, 125 speed and swords dance he probably will be fully capable of sweeping a team if given any sort setup time.

Oh shit. I just realized that Charizard + Belly Drum can now use STAB Physical Fire Fang. I so want to throw that on my for shits and giggles team.

I am greatly disturbed by this news.
Fuck. The only shit that blocks out both of those hits are steels and TTar and 'Gar has ways around both of them...
Fuck. The good news is that Celebi can't wall Gengar. The bad news is that Celebi being able to wall Gengar was probably one of the major reasons Gengar wasn't broken.
This news of Gengar's divine powers does not please me.

Gengar becomes God. God smites you. Holy fuck I hope Hidden Power stays physical (okay, it's not technically physical in RuSa but it counts as a physical move in the sense that Counter works on it but Mirror Coat doesn't) simply because if it DOES stay physical, Gengar can be countered by steels because Fire Punch as a physical will deal jack shit to their 399 defenses and shit. If Hidden Power stays physical, I will feel relatively safe. Otherwise I might have to start screaming. Or, alternatively, I might use Blissey with Ice Beam. Assuming, of course, that special [physical] attacks like Sludge Bomb hits special defense. Otherwise, I might try Snorlax with a bit more defense and Shadow Ball. Focus Punch will hurt, fine, but Shadow Ball + Curse/Sleep Talk (never know if they have Hypnosis) just rapes the damn thing.

I'm under the understanding that moves will hit the defense they come off as (T-Punch hitting Defense). Of course, that's just my logical assumption, I cuold be wrong. Just with things hitting cross defenses, walling becomes impossible, as Elekible uses Cross Chop, Ice Punch, and Thunderpunch and rapes, since all run off his 123 base attack, and two moves hit SpDef, while CC hits defense.
Hidden Power is Special, all of them.

Also, I understand where you're coming from on the special/physical defense thing and it does make sense but I'm hesitant to believe that's how it works just because it would throw out the special/physical chart completely and thoroughly and leave few exceptions.
Besides which, I'm a little more concerned about Dragon Claw being physical tbh. Call me crazy but I don't think that it's coincidence that Salamence (one of the posterboys for ADV) benefitted insanely from its new physical STAB move and then suddenly there's a spike in pokemon that can resist dragon.
And Dragonite's Thunderpunch/Dragon Claw/Fire Punch/Dragon Dance is beastly when you actually think about it (assuming physical attack = physical damage). 403 attack Thunderpunch that works with Milotic's weaker defense. Milotic no longer can wall Dragonite. Regice can't wall the above due to Fire Punch. Nor can Snorlax because of 403 attack. No new pokemon I've seen (based on movepools) can switch into this guy and hope to live (and the few who can don't appear worthwhile on the whole). Physical walls like Weezing don't want to switch into Dragon Claws, even if they're unboosted. And there's a possibility that Draggy won't even have Fire Punch but Fire Blast FOR those Weezings. Fire Blast off that special attack base starts to leave imprints after a while.
In any event, I'm starting to think this is the end of the generic wall. Or walls will be very, very rare and playing resistances will be more important than sticking pokemon in front of attacker.

If Earthquake starts seeing less play, maybe Aggron will be the next wall? With so many attack choices, it could be a constantly changing metagame... which, IMO would be pretty cool...

EQ will not stop seeing play imo. The amount of steels that have surfaced in addition to the number of decent ground types will make EQ a consistent force to be reckoned with.

I think it's like either a chia pet, or a porcu pine. looks mre like a ralts that melted. I like these pokemon alot, but I feel like there's too few. SO are we going to decide which one's we're using and which we're not, or are we going to wait for pokedex info and see if any of them (aside from the new Porygon) are man made or something. Also I've got a link which has the moves that all the new pokemon are learning www.ryuunomai.com/pokemondp-movesets.txt

Well, not just from the DP Pokemon, but we'd be picking Pokemon from the whole 500 which would appear in the game.

Which means the battle menu doesn't take up 1/4 of the battle screen anymore.
CM and I are working on a method to make our RPG game screen larger overall, so you see more of the map when in the overworld, and so there is more room in the battle screen, which would allow us to use the new sprites (seeing as the sprite dimension limit is now 80x80, instead of 64x64).

Oh come on! Wer'e better than Nintendo, Game Freak, Sugimori and that Tajiri guy! Our sprites will be so much better than theirs, ours should be 100x100 pixels! 100x100= Total Pwnage of Awesomeness!!!

No, I'd rather not have to make all the sprites we use in the game -_-
We're going to use mostly DP sprites (we DO have two poses for each), and then some we'll make our own sprites for (usually a split species, though sometimes we will just edit an existing sprite, or just change the coloring).

Serebii's Pokedex now has all attack descriptions! Check it out.
Electrolevitate: Levitate for 5 turns
Trick Room: Slower pokemon attack first for 5 turns.
Summersault (power: 70 type: bug) : User switches out automatically after attack!
Oh yeah: Ambush (power: 80 type: dark) It's an extemespeed that only works if the opponent is using an damaging attack
