I was thinking of a two-stage when I was writing this stuff up, but I can't think of ether a prevolution or a evolution for this guy.
As for the name, originally I did think locust, but then I started wondering if locust really fits an electric grasshopper. I mean a locust is usually found in the desert and associated with famine so... I think bug/ground suits them better.
Anyway, I suck at names so you'll have to help me out there.
The Trait was a tough one, I figured this guy was pretty weak with the low defence, sp. def, and hp so I decided that I would give him something to compensate that related to his inborn abilities. So I threw him a bone and gave him +2 evasion, but It is easy to take away as there are quite a few moves that can steal power-ups that other pokemon gain.
anyway would he benefit much from the extra speed of speed boost? hes already one of the fastest pokemon.
If it has to be one then I guess compundeyes would be the best, though I'm really hoping the Springheeled trait is kept.
and just because keeping them in causes me pain, here are a few crazy names that are currently bouncing around in my head. Zopper, Locuzzt, and Shokust.

I think an ability that ignores ground's electric immunity could be nice, and certainly give this thing an edge on other electrics by not needing Hidden Power Grass for any reason when your Thunderbolt hits Swampert, and for double damage no less.
Oh, and as an electrical bug, Tail Glow would be pretty hot on it even if it has to breed with Volbeat for it.

I always thought missingno would be type.... which I assume has no weakness/resistance.... As for stats and ability.... I'm not sure if thats the traditional Missingno stats, but it would be cool if he had a trait that would randomize his stats.... or maybe even just give him stats to start with that his trait would make switch around..... Just for reference, here's Missingno's original base stats from RBY: HP: 33 (max 269) ATK: 137 (max 372) DEF: 0 (max 98) Spd: 6 (max 110) Special: 29 (max 156) Total: 205 (234 w/ Special Split)[/i] and the revised Missingno I posted last page: HP: 63 [+30] ATK: 137 [+0] DEF: 50 [+50] SPD: 85 [+79] SAT: 81 [+52] SDF: 69 [+40] Total: 485 [+251]

Here's an idea to make something useless a bit more useful.
The ability run away, as you know, kinda sucks. I'm thinking the ability could be upgraded to allow switching through Trapping moves and abilities, making it sort of like a permanent beautiful skin that never wears off. Certainly gives some of the creatures that get it a bit more use.

Also, on the same note, Pick Up will give every attack a chance to do the attack effect of "Thief" with every attack. In case you're speaking english, that means every attack will have a chance to steal your opponent's item.

Sort of had a similar idea for Keen Eyes:
Keen Eyes Effect: Moves used by Pokemon with this trait are not affected by Accuracy or Evasion modifiers
Umbreon used Double Team (+6 Evasion) Skarmory used Roar. Fuck you Brazileon.

On the note of battle useless abilities getting use, I'm probably preaching to the chior but> Stench should reduce the enemy's evasion or increase the user's when the stencher is brought in, and Illuminate should reduces their accuracy, or increase the user's by one level.
Stench Muk could rip up a foe that doesn't switch with his slightly more accurate Gunk Shot.

The revised Pick Up ability I like. seconding it.
Also tossing some ideas now (changes italicized and underlined):
Synchronize Effect: When The Pokémon is Poisoned, Burned, Frozen, Asleep or Paralyzed, the opponent becomes the same.
Sturdy Effect: The Pokémon Cannot be Knocked out by a One Hit KO. If Pokemon is at full health and is Knocked Out in a single hit, its remaining HP becomes 1[/u]
Gluttony Effect: This Pokémon Uses Held Berries quicker. May use items such as Leftovers twice in one turn, or not at all
Also in rsponse to the change in Sandstorm/Sandstream, Hail should increase the Defense of Ice types.

I've always thought that Sturdy should be like that.
Also seconding (thirding?) the Pick-up idea.
As for stench, how about it nullifies the effects of leftovers or berries when used in the presence of this Pokemon, because the smell puts you off eating? I don't know, I just don't like evasion that much....

Not exactly sure if Khold wanted legendaries or not, but I'm gonna toss out the idea of the Mew/Celebi/Jirachi/Manaphy/Shaymin I had in mind Kitsuki Species: Advisory Evolution: None Trait: Levitate (unless someone has a better idea) Gender Ratio: Genderless Catch Rate: 5 Pokedex: A legendary kitsune spirit that has often appeared to travelers in the northern woods. Few have seen it, but it is not known to attack, only to offer its kind words of advice to those who need it. Base stats (This one is pretty obvious) HP: 100 (341-404) ATK: 100 (236-299) DEF: 100 (236-299) Spd: 100 (236-299) SPA: 100 (236-299) SDF: 100 (236-299) Total: 600 Yeah I know, we already have Ninetales for a kitsune.

SinapeedType: Species: Multi-leg Trait(s): Battle Armor/Limber Evolution Chain: N/A Height: 5'3" Weight: 87 lbs Gender Ratio: M 50% F 50% Egg Group: Bug/Dragon Egg Hatching Steps: 6,400 Color: Red Catch Rate: 45 Base Happiness: 70 Growth Group: Slow (1,250,000 exp to lvl 100) Pokedex Description: SINAPEED uses its speed to overcome foes. It will then use its many legs to grasp the opponent and thrash wildly about. HP: 70 ATK: 82 DEF: 120 SPD: 103 SAT: 70 SDF: 55 Level Up -- Dragon Dance -- Scheme -- Tickle -- Leer -- Poison Sting -- Bind -- Defense Curl 6- Leech Life 10- Knock Off 15- Bug Bite 19- Ancientpower 25- Endure 30- Pursuit 34- Poison Jab 37- Glare 42- Wring Out 48- Life Extract 53- Agility 59- Flail TM & HM Dragon Claw Toxic Hidden Power Sunny Day Taunt Hyper Beam Protect Rain Dance Giga Drain Safeguard Frustration Iron Tail Thunderbolt Thunder Return Dig Psychic Shadow Ball Brick Break Double Team Shock Wave Flamethrower Sludge Bomb Sandstorm Fire Blast Rock Tomb Torment Facade Secret Power Rest Attract Thief Skill Swap Snatch False Swipe Fling Charge Beam Endure Dragon Pulse Silver Wind Embargo Shadow Claw Payback Recycle Giga Impact Flash Swords Dance Psych Up Captivate Dark Pulse X-Scissor Sleep Talk Natural Gift Poison Jab Dream Eater Swagger Substitute Cut Strength Rock Smash Rock Climb Egg Baton Pass Signal Beam Reversal Sucker Punch Cross Poison Poison Fang Zen Headbutt Night Slash Iron Defense Life Extract Power: 60 Accuracy: 100% PP: 10 Target: 1 opponent. I've been thinking a baby cow should exist, which evolves gender based into Miltank or Tauros. This would benefit Tauros by far with access to newer moves from baby form and from breeding. It also leads to eye raising repulsion as TAUROS USED MILK DRINK!

EVERYONE wants a baby Miltank Tauros Pokemon, there's o doubt in my mind we'll have one. Now as for Milk Drink Tauros......... that might be going a little too far.... However, I can see something like Heal Bell working (even though it probably wouldn't be useful....)

I think that this project should be about traveling to every region . To make the game allow witch beginner Pokemon you want and no legendary Pokemon because that is kind of cheap and . ???
